- Hydraulic chamber: The hydraulic chamber is the volume within the main cylinder, which is used to store liquid and generate hydraulic pressure through the movement of the piston. The hydraulic chamber is usually connected with the hydraulic chamber of the brake system and shares the hydraulic system.
- System of sealing: The clutch master cylinder's sealing system is crucial in preventing hydraulic fluid leakage and making sure that the hydraulic pressure generated by the clutch master cylinder can be successfully communicated to the clutch slave cylinder. O-rings, gaskets, and sealing covers are frequently found in sealing systems.
- Housing and connections: The clutch master cylinder often includes a housing that serves as both a mounting interface and a protective covering for the internal parts. The enclosure is often composed of metal or plastic and is strong and long-lasting enough.
- Hydraulic lines and connections: To transmit hydraulic pressure, the clutch master cylinder is connected to the clutch slave cylinder using hydraulic lines. Typically composed of metal or rubber, hydraulic lines are corrosion- and pressure-resistant.
